Guiding Star Marshalltown offers an introductory consultation to the Marquette Method of Natural Family Planning. This course covers fertility related issues as well as menstrual health. This is for women and couples to learn how to naturally chart the cycle to either avoid or achieve pregnancy. It is also helpful in a postpartum/breastfeeding setting, as well as in perimenopause.
The initial consultation is free and available by appointment. To adequately and confidently learn the system, it is recommended to have individualized follow-up sessions, for which a fee is charged. The suggested follow-up schedule is at one month and again at six months.
The session is offered by registering at guidingstarmarshalltown.org, clicking on events and following the commands. The presenter, Rebecca Driscoll, PA-C, CLC, will then make contact to schedule an appointment.
