Homes for Iowa announces the upcoming 2026 Homes for Iowa Job Fair in collaboration with IowaWORKS, an event designed to connect trained job seekers with employers seeking skilled talent across multiple industries. Construction and skilled trades employers are encouraged to attend.

The event will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Nov. 20 at the Homes for Iowa Building Site, Correction Release Center, 307 S. 60th Ave. W, Newton.

Attendees may register online at: forms.cloud.microsoft/g/BegvuQZH6p

The event will include an employer information session and a house tour, followed by a career fair. These activities will give employers the opportunity to explore the Homes for Iowa program firsthand, and speak directly with trained jobseekers about open positions. Additional details about participating employers and opportunities will be shared as the event approaches.

The HFI program is a partnership with Iowa Prison Industries. Homes for Iowa supports Iowa's workforce and communities by creating employment pathways and strengthening the state's talent pipeline through hands-on training, skill development and community engagement.
