The Marshalltown Public Library and Friends of the Marshalltown Public Library are holding a ribbon cutting at 2 p.m. on Oct. 25 to celebrate the new interior renovations that were recently made to the library building.
The renovation project added six new meeting spaces, including one space for sound recording, and it included updating the HVAC system and lighting to improve energy efficiency. The project was paid for entirely by the Friends of the Marshalltown Public Library and other donors. The public is invited to join in celebrating these new spaces for the community with the staff and Friends of the Marshalltown Public Library.
