Marshalltown Public Library to host Fall Plant Swap

The Marshalltown Public Library will host its annual Fall Plant Swap from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Oct. 13 in the library community rooms. The community is invited to share houseplants or perennials just in time for fall planting. Plants may be dropped off at the Check Out Desk anytime on Oct. 12. Participants will receive a ticket for each item brought in. Those with tickets can come back at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday to select materials for the first 30 minutes of the Swap. The second half-hour is open to the public. The amount of materials available to the public will depend on donations.
