Applied Reproductive Strategies in Beef Cattle meeting returns to Iowa

AMES — The premier national event in beef cattle reproductive management returns to Iowa this year, hosted by the Iowa Beef Center at Iowa State University. The 2026 Applied Reproductive Strategies in Beef Cattle meeting is set for Nov. 10-11 in Des Moines at the Holiday Inn Des Moines- Airport/Conference Center. The meeting is organized by the Beef Reproduction Task Force. Film series for adults continues Aug. 24

The film series for adults continues at 2 p.m. on Aug. 24 in the Marshalltown Public Library’s community meeting rooms. The library’s movie license forbids the use of film titles in publicity; therefore, the staff invites the public to play the movie guessing game. The August film is a 2000 spirited autobiography by writer-director Cameron Crow.
