‘Live After Five’ kicks off June 23

The Orpheum’s “Live After Five” concert series has been finalized for 2017.

Beginning Friday, June 23 and continuing every Friday until Aug. 25, 10 different musical acts will perform from 5:30-7 p.m. outside on the grounds east of the Orpheum’s facility.

The free outdoor concerts will also feature food and beverages and is an opportunity for music lovers to experience a wide-ranging selection of musical styles, according to Orpheum Director Bob Untiedt.

The concert series, principally sponsored by the Martha Ellen Tye Foundation, will include the following musical acts:

• June 23 — JJ Ace (rock)

• June 30 — The Nadas (rock)

• July 7 — Jen McClung (folk)

• July 14 — Diplomats of Solid Sound (funk)

• July 21 — Exit 185 (rock)

• July 28 — Bob Dorr and The Blue Band (blues)

• Aug. 4 — Riverbottom Ramblers (bluegrass)

• Aug. 11 — Malcolm Wells and The Two Timers (blues)

• Aug. 18 — The Led Farmers (Irish folk/rock)

• Aug. 25 — Lincoln Highway (bluegrass)
