The 2017 CIML Iowa all-conference softball squads have been announced and six Marshalltown athletes were honorable mentions.

Junior Regan Mazour and freshman Madison Finch each earned their second-straight honors — with Mazour being selected to the second team last season and Finch appearing on the honorable mention team in 2016 — while junior Ciara Feldman earned her third-straight honorable mention.

Mazour hit .253 with five RBIs while batting leadoff, while Finch recorded a .205 average. Feldman had 3-3 on stolen bases and hit a home run for the Bobcats.

Making their first appearance on the honorable mention list were freshman Erica Johnson and seniors Aspen Chadderdon and Bridget Carroll. Johnson was solid behind the plate for Marshalltown and led the team in RBIs. Chadderdon and Carroll each were effective at third and second base respectively throughout the year, while Chadderdon had six RBIs and Carroll hit a .213 average.
