Tiger men fall on the road to Indian Hills for third straight ICCAC loss

OTTUMWA — The Marshalltown Community College men’s basketball team lost its third-straight game in ICCAC play by falling on the road Saturday to NJCAA No. 2 Indian Hills, 84-56.

By halftime, the highly-ranked Warriors (21-0) led the Tigers 48-30, though MCC (12-8) was able to keep Indian Hills under its scoring average of 93 points.

Bassirou Ndiaye was the top scorer for the Tigers with 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting from the floor, while Kelton Edwards finished with 10 points off the bench.

Indian Hills had ten players score in the win, with Antonio Williams leading the Warriors with 18 points.

The MCC men will look to right the ship on Monday when they return home to face off with the Simpson College junior varsity in a game on the MCC campus, starting at 7 p.m.
