Prairieville Ladies Club tour Marshalltown Christian School

A spring breakfast and tour was enjoyed by the Prairieville Ladies Club at the Marshalltown Christian School. Hostesses were Tracy Macbeth, Bonita Wunn, Eileen Metzger, Alyce Quastad and Shelly Appelgate. President Dee Seilers presided at the business meeting. Sixteen members of Chapter JU of the P.E.O. Sisterhood met at 1 p.m. on Monday at the Marshalltown Public Library. Joann Neven, a member of Chapter LT, gave an interesting program on aprons, their history and purposes as she described each apron from her collection. Members then shared information about their favorite apron. A business meeting followed with information about the Convention of the Iowa State Chapter to be held June 1-2 in Des Moines. Search and rescue dogs program at Chapter MJ

P.E.O. Chapter MJ met at 7 p.m. on May 6 for its regular meeting at the home of Joan Johnson. Chris Melde served as co-hostess. Plans for the Iowa State Convention and the International Convention were discussed. President Jennifer McGill will attend the P.E.O. State Convention in Des Moines on June 1-2.
