Plea agreement reached in Marshalltown grooming case

A plea agreement has been reached in a Marshalltown grooming case. Brock Casady, 40, was arrested and charged with third-degree sexual abuse of a minor on Nov. 10, 2025. According to the Marshalltown Police Department arrest report, the minor victim reported that she was sexually abused by Casady the previous night. The victim’s mother confronted Casady, who left the residence afterward. A Flock camera showed his vehicle leaving Marshalltown before his arrest.
