Robert Spurlin

Robert Spurlin, of Vancouver, Washington, formerly of Union, passed away on July 13, 2023. He was born on March 19,1950, to Lela (Connley) and Darrel Spurlin. Robert graduated from U-W in 1968 and shortly after enlisted in the U.S. Air Force. He was eventually stationed in Thailand. After leaving the service he enrolled in AIB where he earned an associates degree in business. During his leisure time he worked for many years volunteering for Special Olympics which honored him with an outstanding games volunteer award in 1995.
