The recent article submitted by the Des Moines Register stating the downside of CO2 pipelines was spot on. What a terrible idea! And an accident waiting to happen! Instead, we need more nature to take up CO2! What sense does it make to destroy what precious few remaining forests, prairies and wetlands to produce more (non green) ethanol — then make landowners put in these terrible things? Police reform is needed

Is there any other country in the world where police have been given so much “favored status” in their laws as they’ve been given here in Iowa? Our Republican lawmakers made police “immune from most lawsuits and 99 percent immune from prosecution.” Only the State AG can decide if police can be prosecuted. Is it any different in communist North Korea or in any tyrannical country? It should be that every violent police action must be tried before a jury of UN-screened common citizens. Epoch Times full of good news

I don’t know why the library doesn’t use the Epoch Times. I have taken it for about a year, and the biggest problem I have is getting it read because there is so much good news in it. This week in the Life and Tradition section they had great stories about veterans and about our Land of the Free and Home of the Brave. Excellent stories and also writing about bringing back masculinity and bring back old fashioned hard work stories. There was also a story about Don Trump testing judges’ power over free speech. Thankfulness

Man must appreciate the eternal value of mankind’s inner spirit living forever. We are responsible to share Bible truth, from our Maker and His son Jesus Christ. Christmas is his birth on Earth by Virgin Mary. Easter is his resurrection from death on a cross to eternally pay our penalty for all wrongs.
