Stan and Danita (Kinder) Freeborn were married July 12, 1975, in Gilman. To celebrate their 40th wedding anniversary, their family is throwing a card shower. Cards may be sent to PO Box 155 Laurel, IA 50141.

Stan and Danita have two daughters; Lindsay (Jeff) Kerch, of Goldfield, and Lisa (Daniel) Vargas, currently stationed in Peterborough, England with the United States Air Force. They are also the proud grandparents of Clayton, Jordys, Jenna, Karly, Xavier and Rielle.
