Nancy (Gunderson) Myers’ father, Charles O. Gunderson served eight months in the European Theater, 41st Engineers in World War II, U.S. Army. The Veterans of Foreign Wars 839 presented her a United States Flag at their May meeting. The Flag will be display at the Toledo Cemetery with other flags. Charles never received a flag.
