Two chapters from the Daughters of the American Revolution made donations to the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown. Member Diane Hobson of the Marshalltown Spinning Wheel Chapter delivers boxes of snacks to the residents along with pillow cases for the veterans made by the Council Bluffs Chapter. They started making the patriotic colored pillow cases for servicemen overseas and have expanded to veteran homes.
