The Marshalltown Evening Lions, at its regular April meeting on April 5, presented a check of $500 to the MHS STEP (Students Teaching and Empowering Philanthropy) group of 14 students for the upcoming “Packaging 50,000 Meals for Marshalltown with Food Insecurities” on April 26 at the MHS Cafeteria. Pictured is Bill Peden, Evening Lions president, and MHS STEP students Gaby Estabrook and Chesni Uhde.
