Sigma Master Chapter, Beta Sigma Phi met for lunch at noon on Oct. 10 at Pizza Ranch.

In the absence of President Diane Hobson Secretary Alice Nicholson conducted the meeting thanking Dorothy Perry for hosting the day. Roll call was taken with the question: “What do you like about fall?” Six members and two guests were present and two were excused.

Minutes of the September meeting were read with no additions or corrections. Barb Noid gave the treasurer’s report with only two unpaid dues.

Health reports were given with information about one member presently in the hospital, one member needing help at the UnityPoint Hospital Wound Clinic and another having heart procedures, along with two members getting help for vein problems. And, the oldest member stated in good condition with last check-up.

There was no old business to discuss, nor any new business so the meeting was adjourned indicating the next meeting will be Nov. 14 with Bonnie Speas hosting.
