P.E.O. Chapter LT visit to Haverhill Oratory

Twelve members of P.E.O. Chapter LT visited the Gothic Byzantine Haverhill Oratory on June 5 with Gary Pusillo, Deacon, as the guide. The church was built in 1902 for $1,288. The beautiful symbolic stained glass windows came from Europe and the pictures on the walls were done by an Italian painter on canvas done on site. He explained the architecture, symbols and statues in the oratory related to the Catholic Church.
