TTT holds Initiation and Installation of Officers

Two significant TTT ceremonies, Initiation and Installation of Officers, as well as a surprise presentation of a McFarland Clinic 2022 Trusted Choice Community Grant, highlighted the October meeting of Iowa ET of the National TTT Society, this week at Elim Lutheran Church. Clare Wing and Angela Cope were welcomed as new TTT members, courtesy of sponsors, Maria Hazen and Sue Cope. Angela was recognized as a legacy TTT, as her sponsor-mother has been a member of Iowa ET since 1988. Liscomb Auxiliary plans busy October

LISCOMB — Liscomb Legion Auxiliary Unit 87 met at 1:30 p.m. on Oct. 13 at the home of Sharon Hatch in Whitten. Four members answered roll call. Chaplain Dorothy Sorensen gave opening devotions. Meeting was conducted by president Hatch. A moment of silence was observed for the MIA\POW and deceased veterans. Members recited the Pledge of Allegiance and the Auxiliary Preamble. St. Rita’s Club begins new year

St. Rita’s Study Club met on Sept. 22, at the home of Carol Paxson. She was assisted by Carol Jansen and Regina Petersohn. President Joyce Sanders welcomed 15 members and three guests to the first meeting of the 2022-23 year. Treasurer Denise Holubar reported that a memorial donation was received from the family of Janet Mead who was a long time St. Rita’s member.
