Chad and Michele Gauthier, of Marshalltown, along with Roberta McCarthy and the late Michael McCarthy, of Waterloo, are pleased to announce the engagement and upcoming wedding of their children, Alyssa Gauthier and Zachariah McCarthy.

Alyssa is a 2011 graduate of Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School and a current student at Wartburg College working toward a degree in business administration and accounting. She plans to graduate in December 2014.

Zach is a 2009 graduate of Gladbrook-Reinbeck High School and a 2013 graduate of Wartburg College with a major in business management. He is currently working at Pioneer in Reinbeck and is on the Reinbeck volunteer fire department.

The couple will be married Sept. 13 at St. Gabriel Catholic Church in Reinbeck with a reception to follow at Oak Leaf Country Club in Reinbeck.
