• On Thursday, Nov. 9, an incident of theft-third degree occurred in the 500 block of Iowa Avenue West.

• On Wednesday, Nov. 8, a theft was reported to the Marshalltown Police Department in the 1000 block of Iowa Avenue West.

• On Thursday, Nov. 9, Terry Lee Hurley, 55, was cited for driving on the wrong side of a two-way highway, failure to maintain control and failure to obey a traffic control device.

• On Wednesday, Nov. 8, Luis Miguel Madrigal-Roman, 30, was cited for no insurance.

• On Friday, Nov. 10, Jack Alan Schultz, 58, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Friday, Nov. 10, Kevin Douglas Young, 56, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Friday, Nov. 10, Christian Salas, 23, was arrested for careless driving and operating while under the influence-first offense.

• On Thursday, Nov. 9, Tyson Hinders, 30, was arrested on a warrant.

• On Thursday, Nov. 9, Bryan Daniel, 38, was arrested for driving under suspension and operating while under the influence-second offense.

• On Thursday, Nov. 9, Harold Lathrop, 43, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a Schedule II-first offense and possession of a Schedule I controlled substance-first offense.

• On Thursday, Nov. 9, Traviss Snelling, 23, was arrested for trespassing and theft-third degree-shoplifting.

Accidents

• On Friday, Nov. 10, a vehicle driven by Terry L. Hurley, 55, of Albion, was northbound on South Center Street approaching the barricade that was closing the road due to work on the Linn Creek Bridge. Hurley drove around the barricades, across the sidewalk, down the grass between two trees and then drove back up onto the roadway knocking over a street sign and then striking a construction trailer before coming to rest. Hurley was transported to UnityPoint Health-Marshalltown. Hurley was cited for failure to maintain control, failure to obey a traffic control device and driving on the wrong side of a two-way highway. Damage to the Hurley vehicle was estimated at $5,000 while the traffic sign received an estimated $200 in damage and the construction trailer an estimated $1,000 in damage.

• On Thursday, Nov. 9, a car driven by Dorothy Christina Mehlow, 55, of Albion, was pulling into the main entrance of the UnityPoint Health-Marshalltown Hospital when the sun blinded the driver for a second resulting in a collision with a vehicle driven by Birdiana Gonzalez-Torres, 29, of Marshalltown, which was stopped near the main entrance. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Gonzalez-Torres vehicle was estimated at $1,500 while the Mehlow car received an estimated $4,000 in damage.

• On Friday, Nov. 3, a car driven by Cindy Lee Davidson, 64, of Marshalltown, was southbound on North Seventh Street when it went through the stop sign at the intersection with Summit Street and collided with a vehicle driven by Candice Marie Cobb, 34, of Marshalltown, which was eastbound on Summit Street. No injuries were reported. Damage to both vehicles was estimated at $1,000 each.

Arrests

• On Thursday, Nov. 9, David Riedle, 23, was arrested on a warrant charging him with forgery and theft-fourth degree.

• On Thursday, Nov. 9, Cameron Hayden, 27, was arrested on three warrants for violation of probation.

• On Thursday, Nov. 9, Chad Baker, 39, was arrested for violation of parole.

Nov. 5

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a carbon monoxide incident at 305 E. South St., an extrication of victims from vehicle at 2300 Marshalltown Blvd., a dispatched/cancelled en route to 2300 Marshalltown Blvd., and 11 medical assists with the EMS crew to: 2901 S. Second St., 3202 S. 12th St., 1703 Edgebrook Drive, 311 S. Second St., 504 W. Church St., 209 N. 12th Ave., 112 N. Fourth St., 216 E. Main St., 609 W. Church St., 407 W. Church St., and 10 W. State St.

Nov. 4

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to two extrication of victims at 1202 S. Third Ave., and 295th Street, a dispatched/cancelled en route to 3202 S. 12th St., an unintentional transmission of alarm at 403 Union St., and three medical assists with the EMS crew to: 407 N. Third Ave., 605 Summit St., and 802 S. Center St.

Nov. 3

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to two dispatched/cancelled en routes to 1400 Marshalltown Blvd., and 209 N. 12th Ave., a good intent call to 2009 S. Fourth Ave., a building fire at 501 N. 12th Ave., and three medical assists with the EMS crew to: 10 W. State St., 808 W. State St., and 407 W. Church St.

Nov. 2

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to an extrication rescue at 1214 E. Nevada St., an outside rubbish fire at 406 E. Anson St., and four medical assists with the EMS crew to: 2802 S. Center St., 206 W. Grant St., 206 Nicholas Drive, and 205 W. Nevada St.

Nov. 1

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to an extrication of victims from vehicle at 803 W. Boone St., a good intent call to 105 W. Boone St., a smoke or odor removal at 1117 W. Church St., two alarm system activations-no fire-unintentional at 607 N. Fourth Ave., and 403 E. Union St., and four medical assists with the EMS crew to: 209 N. Fifth Ave., 206 Nicholas Drive, 1107 S. Fourth St., and 113 Bohen St.

Oct. 31

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to a good intent call to 5 E. Grant St., and three medical assists with the EMS crew to: 709 Arlington Drive, 1205 E. Nevada St., and 407 W. Church St.

Oct. 30

• The Marshalltown Fire Department responded to seven medical assists with the EMS crew to: 18 E. Berle Road, 541 N. Third St., 504 E. Linn St., 2204 Dubois Circle, 2907 S. Sixth St., 1211 W. State St., and 1208 W. State St.
