• Jerome Marquez Lang made an initial appearance on 18 counts of a violation of a no-contact order/contempt of court charge. Patrick Peters will continue as counsel. The contempt hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 29. Bond is set at $1,000 cash. A new no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Rogelio Sanchez Sanchez made an initial appearance on a possession of a controlled substance-second offense charge, a driving while barred charge, a no insurance charge, a driving under suspension charge, a fraudulent use of registration charge, a dark window/windshield violation charge and an operating a non-registered vehicle charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 25. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Miguel Angel Garcia made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault/impeding the flow or air or blood charge and a domestic abuse assault charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 15. Bond is set at $2,300 cash or surety. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Elizabel Mendoza Valdovinos made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 7. in Magistrate Court.

• Amores De La Caridad Hernandez Santos made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Jessica Maffitt is appointed as counsel. The pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 7 in Magistrate Court.

• Blake Robert Jon Krull made an initial appearance on a theft-fifth degree charge. Krull pleaded guilty and the fine is $105 with a $15.75 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $180.75.

• Christopher Lee Chandler made an initial appearance on a false report of indictable offense to a public entity charge. Francis Hurley is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 25.

• Jodi Marie Rutledge made an initial appearance on a violation of probation charge. Dusty Clements is appointed as counsel. The probation revocation hearing is set for 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 29.

• Chantel Marie Smith made an initial appearance on a theft-third degree charge. Jennie Wilson-Moore is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 25.

• Sy Kastin made an initial appearance on an unlawful passing of a school bus-first offense charge. Kastin pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.

• Ramon Alexis Feliciano Nieves made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Feb. 7 in Magistrate Court.

• Joel Hernandez Guido made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. Hernandez Guido pleaded guilty and the fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.
