• Lucas Terry Gunderson made an initial appearance on a leaving the scene of an accident/failure to supply aid or information charge and a failure to maintain control charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 23 in Magistrate Court.

• Skylar James Stotz made an initial appearance on two counts of a violation of probation charge. The probation revocation hearing is set for 3 p.m. on Oct. 4. Stotz is being held without bond.

• Jose Manuel Garcia made an initial appearance on a child endangerment charge and a domestic abuse assault-first offense charge. Benjamin Harris-Medina is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 9. Bond is set at $1,000 cash or surety. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Christopher Dean Arment made an initial appearance on an operating while under the influence-third or subsequent offense charge and a driving while barred charge. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 9. A substance abuse evaluation is ordered with the results submitted to the court.

• Adrian Geronimo Lizarde made an initial appearance on an assault charge, an interference with official acts charge and a trespass-first offense charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 9 in Magistrate Court.

• Moises David Chavez made an initial appearance on an interference with official acts charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 9 in Magistrate Court.

• Rahel Kena Mantay made an initial appearance on an interference with official acts charge and a trespass-first offense charge. Benjamin Harris-Medina is appointed as counsel. The pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on Oct. 30 in Magistrate Court. Bond is set at $2,000 cash.

• Lake Paul Sulc made an initial appearance on a dog at large charge. Sulc pleaded guilty and the fine is $850 with a $127.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $1,037.50.

• On Wednesday, Sept. 18, Jorge Sanchez-Vasquez, 42, was arrested for election misconduct-first degree-registration fraud violation and election misconduct-first degree-false ballot violation.

• On Wednesday, Sept. 18, Christopher McClain, 28, was arrested on a warrant charging him with assault with a dangerous weapon.

• On Wednesday, Sept. 18, Huntley Fields, 43, was arrested on a warrant charging him with escape from custody-felon.

• On Wednesday, Sept. 18, Lucas Gunderson, 20, was arrested on a warrant charging him with leaving the scene of an accident/failure to provide aid or information and failure to maintain control.

Accidents

• On Tuesday, Sept. 17, a car driven by Trevor Ryan Guckert, 44, of Rhodes, was southbound on Cooper Avenue when it struck a horse in the middle of the roadway resulting in heavy damage. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Guckert car was estimated at $5,000.

• On Wednesday, Sept. 4, an SUV driven by Alexander Douglas Loffgren, 35, of Albion, was northbound on Highway 330 when it struck a deer that entered the roadway. No injuries were reported. Damage to the Loffgren SUV was estimated at $2,000.
