• Joseph Ray Perkins made an initial appearance on a domestic abuse assault-third or subsequent offense charge, a domestic abuse assault-impeding the flow of blood or air charge and a possession of drug paraphernalia charge. Jennifer Weaver is appointed as counsel. The preliminary hearing is set for 9:30 a.m. on May 23. Bond is set at $10,000 cash. A no-contact order has been issued for the protected party.

• Mario Hernan Melendez made an initial appearance on a failure to appear for a sentencing hearing charge. The sentencing hearing is rescheduled for 12 p.m. on June 16.

• Jose Santiago Martinez Patino made an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge. A pre-trial conference is set for 9:30 a.m. on June 18 in Magistrate Court.

• Samantha Rose Rink failed to appear for an initial appearance on a driving under suspension charge and the court found her guilty. The fine is $250 with a $37.50 surcharge and $60 in court costs for a total of $347.50.
