Four arrested in Marshalltown drug bust
Four Marshalltown residents were arrested on drug-related charges Friday morning at 16 N. 11th Ave.
Mid-Iowa Drug Task Force agents served a search warrant for the location and a SWAT team was sent in as part of the bust. The SWAT team was used due to prior firearms history at the address, which had seen two other warrants served since 2017.
“As a result of this investigation, evidence of methamphetamine and marijuana use and sales was discovered, a small quantity of methamphetamine, marijuana and $1,783 was seized and four suspects were arrested and jailed on various criminal drug charges,” a Marshall County Sheriff’s Office statement read.
The four people arrested were Alphonze Emanuel, 43; Zacheriah Dixon, 23; Kelsey Tolbert, 25; and Jose Cervantes-Rodriguez, 46.
The Mid-Iowa Drug Task Force was assisted with the execution of the search warrant by the Marshalltown Police Department, the Marshalltown SWAT team and the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office.
