Saturday, the Central Iowa Art Association (CIAA) held its 75th anniversary art sale, selling artwork and art supplies, at its location inside the Fisher Community Center. It will soon be vacating the spot, moving its programming to Iowa Valley Continuing Education. Board President Bob Moore, left, chats with attendees.

Over the weekend, the Marshalltown Police Department held its 2019 Fill the Squad Challenge, collecting food for the Emergency Food Box. Stationed at Fareway and Hy-Vee Saturday afternoon, volunteers collected many bags and boxes of food, as well as monetary donations. Here MPD Officer Paul Heitman adds a donation to the the Hummer.
