Students, staff and supporters of St. Francis Catholic School came together to celebrate Catholic Schools Week last week as St. Francis alum Lynne Carroll spoke during an assembly on Monday, and members of the Marshalltown Fire Department visited on Wednesday with Jack Cross, the son of Fire Chief Christopher Cross, presenting the flag. On Friday afternoon, a special assembly was held to honor school board members and volunteers.
