Funeral services for Georgia Faye Nash, 87, of Marshalltown, were held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, January 2, 2015, at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home with Pastor Judy Marshall officiating.
Seth Jones, Colt Miller, Austin Miller, Andy Jones, Derek Jones, Erin Jones, Jon Lang, Ryan Jones and Cory Jones served as pallbearers.
Georgia will be laid to rest at a later date.

Georgia Faye Nash, 87, of Marshalltown, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2014, at Grandview Heights and under the care of the Iowa River Hospice Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 2, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service at 1:00. Memorials may be directed to the family, Iowa River Hospice Home or the dialysis center at Mary Greeley Hospital in Ames. Georgia Wayson was born on December 27, 1927, in Vinton, Iowa to Merle and Fern Ferguson Wayson. She graduated from Vinton High School in 1942. In 1967, Georgia was united in marriage to Gary Nash in Illinois. Georgia had been the secretary for Lindsay Water Conditioning as well as an Iowa River Hospice volunteer. Georgia also worked as police dispatch in Estherville and was one of the founders of the dialysis center that is now in Ames. Georgia enjoyed reading books, playing the piano, fishing, growing plants, cooking and had a love for poodles.
Left to cherish Georgia’s memory is her children: Randy (Robin) Jones, of Cedar Rapids, Rick (Corky) Jones, of Le Grand, and Regan Jones, of Ankeny. Grandchildren: Seth Jones, Andy Jones, Derek Jones, Erin Jones, Ryan Jones, Cory Jones, Colt Miller, Austin Miller and Jon Lang. Great grandchildren: Garrett and Harper Jones and a brother Jack (Dixie) Wayson, of Vinton.
Georgia is preceded in death by her husband Gary who passed away in 2002 and her parents Merle and Fern.
