William “Bill” Getting, 80
William “Billy” Dean Getting, 80, of rural Clemons, passed away on Friday, April 21, at the Iowa River Hospice Home, in Marshalltown, Iowa. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, May 6, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. until Noon at the Engelkes-Abels Funeral Home, in Grundy Center. A private family graveside service will be at the Lincoln Center Cemetery.
Those whose lives he has changed forever and are left behind to mourn are his wife Karla, of Clemons, Iowa; children: Danny (Penny) Getting, of Kansas City, Kansas, Robert (Doreen) Getting, of Grundy Center, Iowa, and Gareck Donald Getting, of Grundy Center, Iowa; step-children: Kris Harris-Hull (Jason Hull), of Fairfield, Iowa, Jeni (Ron) Christensen, of Marshalltown, Iowa, Jeremy (Sara) Harris, of Marshalltown, Iowa, and Megan Cross, of Union, Iowa; 17 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends.
