Pallbearers were Kirby Goos, Guy Frerichs, Tom Abernathey, Chuck Murray, Jeff Boeyink and David Hesmer.

He was laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery with Full Military Honors provided by the Combined VFW/American Legion Honor Guard.

Groups in attendance included Fareway and many Iowa Hawkeye Fans, among others.

Mitchell Family Funeral Home was entrusted with the care of Rog and his family.
