Funeral services for Rod will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, beginning at 1:30 P.M. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025, from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home. The family encourages people to wear sports attire in remembrance of Rod. Memorials in Rod’s name may be directed to his family for a later designation.
