Betty L. Jacobs, 98, of Marshalltown, Iowa, entered into the gates of heaven and rejoined her husband and son on the morning of July 17, 2026, at the Iowa River Hospice Home in Marshalltown. Funeral services for Betty will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026, beginning at 10:30 A.M. at the First Methodist Church in Marshalltown. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, July 24, 2026, from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at the Mitchell Family Funeral Home in Marshalltown. Dennis Lee Brekke, 73, of Union, Iowa, passed away on July 13th, 2026.
