George Sorensen, 97, longtime resident of Union, and member of the Greatest Generation, passed away Saturday night, February 3, 2024, at the Oakview Nursing Home in Conrad with family at his side. Services honoring his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 9, at the Union Community Church in Union with Pastor John Richter officiating. Private family interment will be in the Union Cemetery at a later date. Full military honors will be presented by the combined VFW/American Legion Honor Guard of the surrounding area.
