Voices say we shouldn’t call Trump a fascist so I unapologetically say why not? I will go further: the Republican leadership, the 6 conservatives on the U.S. Supreme Court, right wing talk shows, right wing think tanks,syndicated columnists like Josh Hammer and Ben Shapiro are all courting Trump’s fascist behavior.

When someone says they (immigrants) are poisoning our blood that’s right out of the Nazi playbook.When you attack diversity you are saying some skins, or minds are inferior or when you attack inclusion you are saying some people are not worthy to be in the same place or society or you attack wokeism or critical race theory you are claiming racism doesn’t exist they all fall under the category of fascism.

We should not be surprised if we understand European History because early Europeans transported their fascist impulse Manifest Destiny into the Americas with the blessings of Popes and Kings!

I personally describe fascism as calculated cruelty. Think slavery, genocide, slaughter of the Buffalo, Small Pox laded blankets given to the indigenous, separate Indian children from their families, land theft by President Jackson ( Trumps idol) forced thousands of Cherokee from their lands east of the Mississippi westward many died.

The word fascism was not coined until the 1930’s under Italian dictator Mussolini! The ironies of all ironies Netanyahu regime is playing the Nazi playbook against the Palestinians.

It’s too bad the press doesn’t feature those Jewish voices who protest against Netanyahu and Trump.

I believe those MAGA voices that appear gleefully that Trump is sticking it to the government bureaucracy with the mass firings, the retribution against political opposition, threats to jail opponents, attacking judges, undermining regulatory agencies, the disregard of the rule of law are playing the fools game and are actually placing an authoritarian noose around their own necks.

I know there are a lot of farmers who voted for Trump so I as a retired farmer I ask if all you farmers said “we are not going to plant our crops next year until we get a price floor that gives a true economic justice ” how much love will you get from Trump?

Beware the fascist impulse. It’s laced with calculated patriotic good ole boy colloquialism’s like I love farmers, drill baby Drill, I’m gonna make America Great Again sloganeering.
