I am writing to express my full support for Mike Ladehoff in his candidacy for Mayor. I had the privilege of knowing and working with Mike while I served as police chief. I witnessed him consistently demonstrate a love for Marshalltown and dedication to public service. Mike always looks for solutions that put the residents of Marshalltown first. He works to protect our future as a community. He wants the best for Marshalltown, and he puts in the work to do his part to keep Marshalltown strong. Mike is the only candidate who is forward-thinking. He respects the past but knows we must grow as a community. He is the candidate you can trust to do what he says.

Mike is transparent and thoughtful in his communications, trustworthy in his conduct, and reliably effective in his responsibilities. Mike listens to supporters and detractors alike. He values the input of his constituents. His deep understanding of our city’s operations, combined with his steady leadership and commitment to our community, make him uniquely qualified to serve as Mayor. Mike will build strong, respectful, working relationships. He is a positive force and will work with all corners of the community to build a Marshalltown we will be proud to call home.
