IOWA CITY — University of Iowa junior Megan Gustafson has been named Big Ten co-Player of the Week, the conference announced Monday.

Gustafson registered 26 points, 10 rebounds and shot 73.3 percent (11-for-15) from the field to lead the Hawkeyes past in-state rival Northern Iowa on Dec. 17. It marked her 11th double-double of the season and the 38th of her career.

Gustafson was named the Big Ten Player of the Week twice previously this season. She is currently ranked in the top-15 nationally in nine categories, including leading the nation in double-doubles (11).
