There will be a new parking situation in Fort Dodge for the Iowa High School State Cross Country Championships on Saturday.

Due to wet grounds there will be no parking in Kennedy Park for the meet, nor will there be parking in the fields close to Lakeside Municipal Golf Course.

Instead there will be a shuttle service for fans in attendance running from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

There are four locations for shuttle services provided throughout Fort Dodge, and parking will be $10 per vehicle. Shuttles and lots will be color coded. There will be a drop-off and pick-up zone in Kennedy Park, as well as handicap accessible parking with the appropriate license or hang tag.

The four lots are: Harlan Rogers Sports Complex at 1614 Nelson Avenue (red lot), Rosedale Rapids at 1111 North 32nd Street (blue lot), Fort Dodge Middle School at 800 North 32nd Street (green lot), and Fort Dodge High School at 801 North 25th Street (black lot).
