JEWELL — Gabe Jones scored a game-high 20 points but it wasn’t enough for the West Marshall boys’ basketball team as South Hamilton held off the Trojans 66-60 in Monday’s non-conference contest.

Brayden Evertsen added 12 points and four assists, and Caleb Keigan scored eight points for the Trojans (2-6), who lost their fourth in a row. Jones pulled down a team-high seven rebounds, but West Marshall couldn’t overcome a 15-for-30 performance from the free-throw line.

Doran Lutjen led South Hamilton (7-2) with 19 points, Cade Balvanz got 18 and Quinton Grove added 17 points.
