The Bobcat softball team suffered its 22nd consecutive loss to Ames with a sweep at the hands of the Little Cyclones, falling 7-4 and 9-1. The Bobcats (10-15, 2-6) haven’t defeated the Little Cyclones (22-8, 9-1) since 2020. Complete statistics from Tuesday’s North Division twinbill were not available as of press time. Marshalltown goes on the road to Fort Dodge to face the 4A No. 8 Dodgers with a noon doubleheader Wednesday.
