2 Cyclones, 2 Hawkeyes on Wooden Watch List
Iowa State’s Addy Brown and Audi Crooks and Iowa’s Hannah Stuelke and Addie Deal have been named to the Wooden Award Top 50 Watch List.
Brown and Crooks, both juniors, are averaging a combined 38.0 points and 16.4 rebounds per game through the Cyclones’ first five contests.
Crooks broke the Iowa State single-game scoring record last week against Valparaiso, scoring 43 points on 18-of-23 shooting in just 20 minutes of action.
Brown also had a week full of milestones, recording her 1,000th career point and Iowa State’s fourth-ever triple-double. The performance marked the first triple-double by a Cyclone in over a decade.
Stuelke, a junior, earned preseason first-team all-Big Ten honors. She is averaging 12 points, 7.5 rebounds per game and is shooting better than 63 percent from the floor.
Deal, a true freshman, is averaging 6 points, 4 assists and 1.5 rebounds per game for the Hawkeyes. She recorded a career-high points against Evansville with 11 points in her second career collegiate game.
