Marshalltown High School’s 2022 Prom took place Saturday night at the high school’s auxiliary gymnasium, the first time the prom was held with no COVID restrictions since 2019. The theme for the event was “Written In The Stars”.

Before the dance began, the community came together for Promenade in the MHS Roundhouse. During the hour-long event, Promenade consisted of dozens of MHS couples walking the runway and posing for pictures in front of family, friends and members of the community and allowing parents to get photos of their kids under the spotlight. The event was emcee’d by MHS teachers James Christensen and Shelly Chandler, and the duo cracked jokes and read out fun facts given to them by the students as they walked down the runway.

Starting at $4.38/week.
