Hy-Vee honoring First Responders on Sept. 11

WEST DES MOINES — Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh convenience stores are honoring first responders on Friday by offering them a free medium coffee or medium fountain drink as the nation marks 25 years since the Sept. 11 attacks. All first responders, including firefighters, police officers, paramedics and more, can receive a free coffee or fountain drink at all Hy-Vee Fast & Fresh locations. Fee reduction for ISave 529 families announced

DES MOINES — State Treasurer Roby Smith recently announced the third fee reduction for ISave 529, continuing his commitment to lowering costs and helping Iowa families keep more of their investments. Effective Sept. 1, the plan’s only fee decreased to .15% or $1.50 per $1,000 invested.
