Road Closure

The Marshall County Road Department has closed Newby Avenue from 265th Street to E-63 to thru traffic from noon on Aug. 26 to 4 p.m. on Aug. 31. The intersection with E-63 is getting regraded. There is no posted detour route. For more information contact the Road Department at 641-754-6343.

Gladbrook ALA’s Kids Shopping Day receives $1,500 grant

Republican Central Committee to meet Aug. 28

The Marshall County Republican Central Committee will hold its regular September meeting at noon on Friday at Legends American Cafe. This change is due to Sept. 4 falling on a Holiday weekend. No activity will be scheduled. The Aug. 28 Central Committee meeting will consist of regular business, project progress and campaign updates. The University of Iowa is partnering with a graduate healthcare institution to provide UI graduates more opportunities to further their education in different areas of medicine.
