2nd annual Tent Revival to return to Conrad

On Aug. 7-9, a 3-night outdoor tent revival will be held again in Conrad at the City Park (by the family aquatic center). Athene Awards Scholarships to 40 Iowa students

WEST DES MOINES — Forty Iowa students have been selected as 2026 recipients of the Athene Game Changer Scholarship. Abigail Tollefson, of State Center, became a First Year recipient of the Athene Game Changer Scholarship. Funded by the Athene Charitable Foundation, the scholarship supports Iowa residents who plan to attend an accredited college or university in Iowa.
