Area alumni take on busy Iowa track weekend

A busy weekend of collegiate track and field competition across Iowa featured several area alumni competing both at the Kip Janvrin Open hosted by Simpson College and the Drake Relays. The Kip Janvrin Open, held annually in Indianola, is named after Kip Janvrin, a former Simpson athlete and one of the most accomplished decathletes in U.S. history.
