Sigma Master Chapter met at Pizza Ranch on Jan. 28 with 11 members and two guests present. Five members were absent.

Caralee Hutchens opened the meeting thanking Elaine Fiscus and her daughter Jackie Fiscus, a guest, for hosting as we were all presented with a lottery ticket and one winner. Opening roll call was taken by Secretary/Treasurer Alice Nicholson with the question “Who do you want to win the Super Bowl?” and the Chiefs won with only one vote for the 49ers.

Minutes of the last meeting were read, approved along with the treasurers report of $25 received from Member at Large, Romaine Mackaman who lives in Ankeny.

Several members reported on health issues and was happy to see three members returning after illness last month.

With no news from International, the meeting closed stating Karen Shipley-Cooper would be the host at Feb. 11 meeting returning to the Pizza Ranch.
