The Marshalltown Evening Lions is beginning screening preschool and kindergarten children in the Marshalltown area using the Iowa Lions KidSight program. Two computer-like machines, shown here, with left to right, Leon Hiracheta, Teresa Ingold (chairperson), Ron Estabrook and Tim Fienup are utilized to take pictures of children’s eyes for possible vision problems that can be referred to eye doctors. The Evening Lions KidSight fall screening started at Woodbury Elementary and have 13 other locations to visit to screen as many area children as possible.
