Sigma Master hosts November meeting

Sigma Master Chapter, Beta Sigma Phi met on Nov. 9 at Mama DiGrados Pizza and Pasta for lunch with eight members and two guests.

President Diane Hobson opened the meeting thanking Elaine Fiscus for hosting. Alice Nicholson took roll call asking the question: “What are your plans for Thanksgiving?” Minutes of the last meeting were read and approved, along with Barb Noid giving the treasurer report. Health reports were given as announcement of a sudden family death of an absent member.

Service project with food for the pantries has been a huge success as is emptied quite fast. Sigma Master will continue donating to each pantry. Nicholson received a request from the Wounded Warrior’s but no action was taken to contribute other than the canceled stamps that the club is sending. Hobson requested if any extra 2022 calendars are received, she would take to the Veteran’s Home for their use, as she volunteers there.

December meeting the officers are in charge so after discussion, Caralee Hutchens placed a telephone call to her daughter and the Marshall County AG ISU Extension Office was scheduled. The Christmas party will be held on Dec. 14 with a brown bag (bring your own) box lunch decorated for

“the best” with prize to be awarded.

The meeting closed with everyone to enjoy the warm, sunny day while they last.
