Gladbrook Auxiliary holds April meeting

GLADBROOK — Spring has arrived to Iowa with warmer temps, robins, flowers poking through and farmers discing to seed waterways. Jeanne welcomed 12 members to the Gladbrook Auxiliary meeting at 1:30 p.m. on April 10 with the pledge to the flag and prayer by Sue Koster. The March Veteran’s Day potluck minutes were read with everyone enjoying the special program by the Iowa Veterans Home commandant. Marshall County Auxiliary holds Spring Conference

Marshall County Spring Conference for the American Legion Auxiliary was held on April 1 and hosted by Laurel Unit #635 and held at the Legion Hall in Laurel. Coffee cake, cherry bars and a fruit plate and coffee was served by Laurel Unit. Registration was at 9 a.m. and $2 each. A board meeting was held at 9:30 p.m. The flags were posted at the head table.
