VFW Auxiliary conducts March business

The March 2024 General Membership meeting of the VFW Auxiliary Post 839 met at the Post Home on March 19. The meeting was called to order at 6:40 p.m. by President Liz Polkiewicz, followed by the Opening Ceremonies according to the Ritual. There were seven members present. There were no guests present and no applications for new membership. The Opening Prayer was recited by Chaplain Donna Mitchem. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited, led by Polkiewicz. Liscomb Legion Auxiliary hosts spring meeting

LISCOMB — Liscomb Legion Auxiliary Unit 87 met at 1:30 p.m. on March 7 at the home of Sharon Hatch in Whitten. Five members were present. Hatch opened the meeting and Chaplain Dorothy Sorensen gave the opening prayer followed by a moment of silence for the MIA/POW and deceased veterans. The Pledge of Allegiance and the Auxiliary Preamble were recited. Minutes of the November meeting were read and approved.
